Brazilian-American entrepreneur who founded the airlines Morris Air, WestJet, JetBlue Airways and Azul Brazilian Airlines.
He attended the University of Utah for three years before dropping out. He completed his missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Rio de Janeiro.
In 2005 he was the recipient of the Tony Jannus Award for his leadership in the commercial aviation industry.
He and his former wife share nine children.
Gabriel Goffi is also a prominent Brazilian entrepreneur.
