David Gedge

Singer and songwriter best known as the vocalist for the bands The Wedding Present and Cinerama.
He studied at the University of Leeds before graduating in 1981.
His band The Wedding Present released one single per month in 1992, which equaled Elvis Presley's record for most hits in a single year.
He has been in a long-term relationship with Jessica McMillan.
He and fellow singer Alistair McGowan are both alumni of the University of Leeds.
