Singer, guitarist, producer and composer who co-founded the band Piso 21. His band is responsible for singles such as "Me Llamas," "Suele Suceder" and "Quitate La Pena." His real name is David Escobar Gallego, but he is best known by the stage name Dim.
He attended the Medellin-located School of Music, where he was a member of the choir. He won several singing competitions as a solo performer at the San Ignacio school.
He and Piso 21 have been nominated for a Latin Grammy Award and Kids Choice Award Mexico. He co-authored a song called "Feria en mi Casa," which was the anthem of the Medellin Flower Fair for years.
He was born in Medellin, Colombia. He married actress Danielle Arciniegas. He and Danielle have two children named Ella and Roma.
