MLB pitcher who played for the San Diego Padres and San Francisco Giants from 1982 to 1989.
He made his debut for the Padres on June 15, 1982.
His career was cut short by cancer in his pitching arm that ultimately resulted in an amputation.
He married Jan Dravecky in 1985.
He played in the 1983 All-Star alongside teammate Terry Kennedy.
