Right-handed submarine relief pitcher who debuted with the Los Angeles Angels in 2008. He then went on to play for the New York Mets and Texas Rangers before joining the Baltimore Orioles in 2012.
He played baseball at Bishop Kenny High School in Jacksonville, Florida.
His "submarine" release made him particularly effective against right-handed hitters, who struggled picking up the ball out of his hand.
He married Fox News reporter Elizabeth Prann in 2010.
He made four appearances in the 2010 World Series for the Texas Rangers, playing alongside star outfielder Josh Hamilton.
