Guitarist and banjo player who released his debut album in 1992 titled Delusions of Banjer with his band, Bad Livers.
He studied audio production at the University of Texas.
He formed the band Danny Barnes & Thee Old Codgers in 2000.
His grandfather introduced him to bluegrass music which inspired him.
He has collaborated with Chuck Leavell.
