Folk Singer
Folk singer and songwriter known for her collection of homemade videos on her Danielle Ate the Sandwich YouTube channel. Since begun on April 12, 2007, she has amassed over 7.5 million cumulative views on her channel. In 2015, she released her 5th independent album, "The Drawing Back of Curtains."
She studied Apparel & Design at Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colorado. She graduated in 2008, and shortly thereafter, continued playing at open mic nights around Fort Collins.
In 2009, after the success of her "Conversations with Dead People" video was listed on the front page of YouTube, she began touring nationally and full-time. In 2010, she released her third album, "Two Bedroom Apartment", which peaked at #5 on the iTunes top selling singer/songwriter charts.
She was born and raised in Fremont, Nebraska.
She opened for Marcus Mumford's group Mumford & Sons on an episode of ETown in 2010.
