Daniel L. Doctoroff
Business Executive
Civil servant who served under Michael Bloomberg as New York City's Deputy Mayor for Economic Development. Also a businessman, he held the position of CEO of Bloomberg L.P.
He obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree from Harvard College in 1980 and later earned his J.D. from the University of Chicago Law School.
Before becoming a civil servant, he worked in investment banking.
He married Alisa Robbins Doctoroff in 1981; they had three children together.
He worked with former New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani to try to bring the Olympics to The Big Apple.
