He and Gal first met at party in the Israeli desert in 2006.
He sold a Tel Aviv-located hotel to a Russian investor for about $26 million.
He and Gal Gadot married in 2008. They have children named Alma and Maya Versano. He has a brother named Guy with whom he worked in real estate. In June 2021 Versano and Gadot welcomed their third child together.
His wife Gal Gadot was directed by Patty Jenkins for the film Wonder Woman.
