Christian singer who first gained exposure as a top ten finisher in the eleventh season of American Idol.
He sang in his high school choir for four years, as well as playing with the Christian rock group Messenger.
His first two singles after American Idol were "You Are" and "Never Gone."
He was born to Mike and Teresa Dixon and raised with a younger sister named Schyler. He married Annie Coggeshall in January of 2016.
He was considered a favorite when he competed on American Idol, especially by judge Steven Tyler.
