Jazz and rock saxophone player who toured with Dire Straits for a decade.
He started playing saxophone at the age of thirteen and was soon after invited to play with the National Youth Jazz Orchestra.
He performed at Nelson Mandela's 70th Birthday Concert in 1988 and at Live Aid.
He was born in Bristol, England. He was watching TV with his dad when he saw someone playing saxophone, which inspired him to play the same instrument.
He has collaborated with a variety of artists, including Paul McCartney.
