English rock singer and frontman for the glam rock band, Smokie, the group that released the albums Changing All the Time and The Montreux Album.
During his formative years, he moved around a lot, which led him to attend a total of nine different schools before he turned eighteen.
He worked in music production as well, helping Agnetha Faltskog of ABBA with her solo album.
He was born in Redcar, England.
He has cited The Rolling Stones as one of his biggest influences, a group in which Bill Wyman played bass.
