Cassie Potter
Curler
Skipper who led the United States women's curling team to a silver medal at the 2005 World Curling Championship and coached the team at the 2006 Olympics.
She began curling when she was 5 years old, learning from her parents, who were competitive curlers.
She won gold in the World Junior Curling Championships in 2002.
Her daughter was born in 2013, and her sister Jamie Haskell was part of the 2005 World Curling Championships silver medal team.
She competed against Swedish curler Anette Norberg in the 2006 Olympics.
