Curling second who won gold at the 2014 Olympics and the 2008 World Championships and also won the 1994 Canadian Junior Curling Championships.
She studied communications at Red River College in Canada.
She climbed Mount Everest in 2006.
She was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.
Charles Hamelin also represented Canada in the 2014 Olympics and won gold in speed skating.
