Carlos Orrantia

Wing defender who has gained fame for his pay in Liga MX, including for Club Universidad Nacional (UNAM) between 2009-2015. He helped the club win the 2011 Clausura Primera División de México tournament.
He played in UNAM's youth academy in 2008. He made his pro debut in 2009.
He won the Liga MX Clausura title in 2015 with Santos Laguna. He later led Mexico to the Pan American Games championship in 2011.
He was born and raised in Mexico City, Mexico.
He and Oribe Peralta have played as teammates for Club America.
