Former Major League Baseball player who rose to fame playing an outfield position for the Los Angeles Dodgers, San Francisco Giants, and Cleveland Indians. He was the only Giant to hit a triple in the 1989 World Series.
He made his Major League debut in 1981.
He was inducted into the Puerto Rico Baseball Hall of Fame.
He is from Puerto Rico.
Sportscaster Chris Berman nicknamed him Candyman.
