She worked for the The Halo Trust charity organization prior to appearing on Love Island.
She played lacrosse for Scotland in the junior world championships.
She hails from Dumfries in Scotland. She was romantically linked to Prince Harry in July 2014, but the couple split soon after. She and Jamie Jewitt welcomed their first child together, a daughter named Nell, in October 2020. The couple got engaged in February 2021.
She and Marcel Somerville both appeared on Love Island.
