He played youth soccer with the Richmond Selects and was a member of a number of district Championship teams.
He played for the Canada U20 team in 2012.
He was born to Lisa and Clive Clarke.
He and Darren Mattocks both joined the Vancouver Whitecaps FC in 2012.
