Bud Wilkinson
Football Coach
Coach of the dynastic Oklahoma Sooners football team of the 1950s.
He was a five-sport star in high school and led the University of Minnesota Golden Gophers as a player to three straight national championships from 1934 to '36.
Under his guidance the Sooners held a steak of 47 straight wins, a record that stood unbroken for decades.
He grew up in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Bob Stoops was another legend of Oklahoma football who, like Wilkinson, had over 100 coaching victories.
