Brian Smith

Formerly rugby player for South Sydney from 1975 to 1979 who is best known as the coach of teams like the Illawarra Steelers and Parramatta Eels.
He played in the New South Wales Rugby Football League premiership.
He became the longest-serving coach for the Parramatta Eels before he resigned as coach in 2006.
His son, Rohan Smith, also became a rugby coach.
He and Nathan Merrit both played rugby for South Sydney.
