He graduated from Illinois State University's theatre program in 1996.
He has provided his voice for many video games such as Call of Duty: Finest Hour, Fallout 4 and Final Fantasy XV: Comrades.
He has a son named Sean with Shannon Nelson.
Both he and Jason Sudeikis co-star on the AppleTV+ comedy show Ted Lasso.
