Branden Dawson

Forward known for his rebounding and defense who helped lead the Michigan State Spartans to the Final Four in 2015. He was selected 56th overall in the 2015 NBA Draft by the New Orleans Pelicans, who then traded him to the Los Angeles Clippers.
He was a McDonald's High School All-American in 2011 while playing at Lew Wallace High School.
He became one of the Spartans' leaders during his junior season, recording double-doubles in three of his first six games.
He was born to Cassandra Dawson and Leon Albritton.
He played alongside Draymond Green for a season at Michigan State University.
