Politician who assumed office as the Republican secretary of state of Georgia in 2019. He was thrust into the national spotlight following Georgia's closely contested vote-count for the 2020 presidential election.
He graduated from Western University in Canada with his civil engineering degree. He obtained his MBA from Georgia State University.
He represented Georgia's 50th district in the Georgia House of Representatives from 2015 to 2019. He has worked as the CEO of Tendon Systems, LLC.
He has three kids with his wife, Tricia.
He presided over Georgia's voting process in 2020 when Democratic candidate Joe Biden won the state, which marked the first time a Democrat won Georgia since 1992.
