Bo Ryan
Basketball Coach
Hired as the head coach of the University of Wisconsin-Madison Badger's men's basketball team in 2001. He led the Badgers to the Final Four in 2014 and to the NCAA Championship game in 2015.
He was a star point guard who led his high school team to a 25-1 record in his senior year.
He has written three books: Bo Ryan: Another Hill to Climb, The Swing Offense, and Passing and Catching: the Lost Art.
He married Kelly Ryan in 1974 and he has three daughters, Megan, Brenna and Mairin, and two sons, Matt and Will. His father Butch coached basketball to under-privileged youths.
He became the second-fastest coach to 100 conference wins behind Bobby Knight.
