Late professional wrestler remembered by wrestling fans as a four-time WWF Hardcore Champion and one-time WWF World Tag Team Champion. He died of a heart attack in his Georgia home at age 41. In 2016, he was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.
He worked as a prison guard before getting his start in wrestling with Jim Crockett Promotions in 1986.
He had political aspirations shortly before his death, running for Commission Chairman in Paulding County, Georgia.
He was survived by two daughters and his wife, Debbie.
He won the WWF World Tag Team championship alongside partner Ken Shamrock.
