Guitarist who was one of the founding members of The Eagles and who was part of the bands Dillard & Clark and the Flying Burrito Brothers.
In San Diego, California, he joined a local bluegrass band, The Scottsville Squirrel Barkers.
In addition to the guitar, he can also play the banjo, mandolin, and the dobro.
He was born one of ten children to a devout Catholic family.
In high school he met his soon-to-be Eagles bandmate Don Felder.
