Co-founder of the International Federation of BodyBuilding & Fitness who was also known for his knowledge of Napoleonic history.
He co-authored Assassination at St. Helena, The Murder of Napoleon, and Assassination at St. Helena Revisited and was convinced that one of Napoleon's entourage assassinated the great military warrior.
He served as IFBB president until October 29, 2006. He was named a Member of the Order of Canada in 1975 and was named an Officer in 2006.
He grew up in Montreal, Quebec, with his family. He had co-founded IFBB with his brother Joe.
His first star was Arnold Schwarzenegger, whom he and his brother called the Austrian Oak.
