Barbara Hesse-Bukowska
Pianist
Polish pianist who successfully juggled a busy intercontinental performing career with a widely respected teaching career.
She won second prize at the 1949 International Chopin Piano Competition.
She became a professor at the Fryderyk Chopin Music Academy in 1973.
