Aron Ralston
Rock Climber
Adventurist and rock climber who authored the autobiography, Between a Rock and a Hard Place, where he had to amputate his own arm after a near fatal rock climbing incident. His story was later turned into the 2010 film 127 Hours.
He used to work as a mechanical engineer for Intel. His hiking accident occurred on April 26, 2003.
He was featured on a segment for Tosh.0 with host Daniel Tosh, along with appearances on The Today Show, Good Morning America and The Tonight Show.
He was married to Jessica Trusty from 2009-2011. He has two children.
His character was portrayed by James Franco in the film 127 Hours.
