Former Armenian-American college football head coach who led Notre Dame University to two National Championships.
He played running back for the Cleveland Browns from 1948 to 1949.
He was named AFCA Coach of the Year and the Eddie Robinson Coach of the Year in 1964.
He had three children with his wife Kathleen Davis.
USC's John McKay is another Hall of Fame College Football coach.
