She grew up with five siblings in Higher Bebington, England, and attended RADA and Goldsmiths, University of London.
Her London stage credits include a 1997 role in a production directed by Phyllida Lloyd and a 2011-2012 London West End performance as Mrs. Johnstone in Blood Brothers at the Phoenix Theatre.
She married her The Royal co-star, Robert Daws, and the couple had two daughters between 2003 and 2005.
Robbins' second cousin, Paul McCartney, rose to international fame as a Beatle.
