Saxophonist who rose to fame for his long career playing with Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet Band. He passed away in December 2020 from complications from colon cancer.
He began touring with the Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet Band in 1973. He made his debut during the tour supporting the release of the album Back in '72.
He was inducted into the Canadian Blues Hall of Fame in May 2012. He performed with The Ventures at their 2008 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction.
He is survived by his daughters Victoria and Chelsea.
He played alongside a long list of iconic artists during his saxophone career, including Robin Gibb, Dan Aykroyd, and Otis Rush.
