El Komander
World Music Singer
Born Alfredo Ríos and better known by his stage name El Komander, he is their for controversial alternative music ballads that focus on the lives and deaths of Mexican drug lords. His 2009 album El Katch includes a hit song titled "Nomas por Ser Sinaloense."
After training in the Mexican banda, mariachi, and cancion music styles, he released his debut album, En-Vivo Desde Badiragato!, in 2006.
In 2012, he released a hit single titled "Cuernito Armani."
He grew up in Culiacan, Sinaloa, Mexico.
He is a contemporary of fellow Mexican singer Gerardo Ortiz.
