She is a self-taught guitarist and self-released her first album, "Forest Parade", in 2003.
Her song "Take Us Back" plays over the end credits of the video game "The Walking Dead (Episode 5: No Time Left)".
She had her daughter, Vera Marie, in November of 2013. Her ex-husband, Tom Bevitori, was a member of her backing band, Wild Divine.
She was invited by critically-acclaimed folk star Joanna Newsom to open for her during Diane's first-ever solo performances.
