She posted her first photo on Instagram in April 2014. She earned a bachelor's degree in Media and Business Management at Arizona State University.
She's a global brand ambassador for Fiji water. In October 2018, she launched her own luxury hat line called The Afiya Collection.
She got engaged to the model and actor, Lloyd Dickenson, in December 2017.
