Australian actor best known for starring as Oscar Wilde in the 1997 film Wilde. He also appeared in the films Coyote Ugly, Kangaroo Jack, and Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen.
He began his acting career with a role in the musical Hot Shoe Shuffle, which toured Australia for two years.
He performed in the Olympic opening ceremony of the 2000 summer games as a tap dancer.
He married Nathalia Chubin in March 2015. He has one daughter, Arya Storm Diana Garcia.
In 2006, he and Idina Menzel starred in the original London production of the musical Wicked.
