Comedian and actor who earned a Primetime Emmy Award in 1999 for his role in HBO's Freak. He's had supporting roles in Moulin Rouge, and the 1996 film Romeo + Juliet. Other film credits include Super Mario Bros., A Pyromaniac's Love Story, Collateral Damage, Ride Along, Kick-Ass 2 and Playing with Fire.
He dropped out of the Tisch School of the Arts to work full-time as a stand-up comedian.
In 2019, he starred in the Netflix mini-series When They See Us.
He had two children, Allegra and Lucas, with his second wife Justine Maurer.
He has done voice acting alongside Ray Romano for the Ice Age film series.
