Former Australian rugby union prop who played for the Melbourne Rebels.
He made the Australian Schoolboys team in 1998.
He became a journalist in retirement, writing about Melbourne sports in the Sydney Morning Herald.
His father Laurie Freier was both a professional rugby player and a coach.
He and David Pocock both played for the ATC Brumbies.
