Zigmund Palffy

Slovak former hockey player who played right wing for NHL teams like the New York Islanders and Los Angeles Kings. He made the NHL All-Star game four times and led the Olympic Games in points and assists in 1994.
He began his professional career with the Czech team HK Nitra in 1990.
He was the flagbearer for Slovakia at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancounver.
His son is hockey player Denis Hudec.
He played with Canadian star Luc Robitaille in Los Angeles.
