Rhythm guitarist and vocalist best known as a member of the skate punk band FIDLAR. The group has released the successful albums FIDLAR in 2013 and Too in 2015.
FIDLAR first formed in 2009 between he and the two sons of TSOL keyboardist Greg Kuehn, Elvis and Max. He met Elvis while working as a sound engineer at a recording studio.
After a struggle with heroin addiction and a bout in rehab, he penned the FIDLAR song "No Waves." He credits Billie Joe Armstrong with helping him get clean.
His father, John Carper, is a famed surfboard designer.
He was previously a member of the band Kitten, a group headed by Chloe Chaidez.
