Yuya Tegoshi
Pop Singer
Famous as a member of an all-male vocal ensemble called NEWS and of an affiliated music group called Tegomass, this Japanese pop singer released such popular singles as "Tanabata Matsuri" and "Miso Soup." Also an actor, he appeared on television in My Boss My Hero, Sekai No Hate Made Itte Q, and several other series.
In 2002, he began his rise to fame by signing with the Johnny & Associates Japanese talent agency.
He made his voice acting debut in 2007 as a Japanese dubber for the English-language animated movie Happy Feet.
He grew up in Yokohama, Kanagawa, Japan.
He and Ryo Nishikido were both members of the popular boy band NEWS.
