Yuko Takeuchi

Japanese actress who became known for her role on the NHK television series Asuka.
She was born in Saitama Prefecture and had one of her early television roles was in the 1996 show Cyborg.
She won numerous awards for her work, including a 2010 Television Drama Academy Award in the Best Supporting Actress category for her role in Natsu no Koi wa Nijiiro ni Kagayaku.
She was married to kabuki actor Shidō Nakamura from 2005 to 2006.
Another Television Drama Academy Award winner is Mao Inoue.
