He formed Immature in Los Angeles in 1992 along with fellow founding members Marques Houston and Don Santos.
He has worn an eye patch over his right eye for much of his career, which he has claimed is a result of being hit in the eye by singer Brandy Norwood.
His birth name is Jerome Isaac Jones.
He collaboarted with former B2K singer Omarion on the 2004 single "After Party."
