Jah-Youth Lopez, also known as Young Jinsu, began his rise to hip-hop prominence after releasing his 2008 EP, It's My Time, on iTunes and Spotify. He continued promoting his music on SoundCloud and YouTube.
At the start of his career, he was featured on the hip-hop group Frontpage's single "My Phone."
In 2013, he became romantically involved with reality star Kendall Jenner.
He was born and raised in Rhode Island, U.S.A.
He and fellow rapper Young Thug (Jeffrey Williams) were born in the same year.
