He began his professional career with the Cameroonian team Zaragoza B in 2010.
He played for Cameroon's U20 team in 2011.
His father Jacques Songo'o was a goalkeeper on the Cameroonian national team.
He played alongside midfielder Michael Thomas on Sporting Kansas City.
