Catcher who won the 2016 World Series in his rookie season as a member of the Chicago Cubs. He was called up from the Tennessee Smokies after being named the Cubs' Minor League Player of the Year for 2015.
He originally signed with the Cubs organization as an international free agent in 2009.
During game 4 of the 2017 NLCS, he set a record for the longest postseason home run in the Statcast era with a distance of 491 feet.
His younger brother William is also a baseball player.
He won a World Series ring alongside series MVP Ben Zobrist.
