William Tyler
Guitarist
Indie rock and folk guitarist who first gained attention for his work as a member of the bands Silver Jews and Lambchop. In 2010 he embarked on a solo career, releasing the critically-acclaimed albums Behold the Spirit and Impossible Truth.
He graduated from the University of Nashville in 1998. He joined Lambchop the same year, when he was 19 years old.
He is the co-founder of the Nashville, Tennessee restaurant and bar The Stone Fox.
His father Dan Tyler was a successful songwriter who penned songs like LeAnn Rimes' "The Light in Your Eyes." He has a younger sister named Elise.
He has been bandmates with singer David Berman in Silver Jews.
