Rock Singer
Singer and guitarist best known as the frontman for the long-running American indie rock band Okkervil River. He was also a member of the band Shearwater from 1999 to 2005.
He attended Kimball Union Academy and was an English major at Macalester College in St. Paul, Minnesota.
He contributed background vocals to the 2010 The New Pornographers album Together.
Both of his parents taught at a Catholic boarding school in rural New Hampshire.
He produced and performed on Roky Erickson's 2010 album True Love Cast Out All Evil.
