His first band was called Skrape. He also played drums for Static-X.
He was in the band Methods of Mayhem with Tommy Lee.
He married Danielle Hunt and he has a daughter named Laila Moon.
Alongside him in Evanesence are singer Amy Lee, rhythm guitarist Troy McLawhorn, lead guitarist Terry Balsamo and bassist Tim McCord.
