Wilfrid Laurier

Liberal politician who was the 7th Prime Minister of Canada between 1896 and 1911. He is the fourth-longest serving Prime Minister in Canadian history and he served in the House of Commons for nearly 45 years.
He earned a law degree from McGill University.
His life and accomplishments are honored on Sir WIlfrid Laurier Day on November 20th every year.
He and his wife Zoe Lafontaine did not have any children.
He succeeded Charles Tupper as Prime Minister of Canada in 1896.
